The Tanto International School believes it is essential to offer children a broad and balanced curriculum within school and facilitate other opportunities, that can enrich a child's life, after school. Alongside our very own After School Club (TASC), we run clubs that enable our international students to build on their daily academic and social development whilst remaining at school after 15:00. This all helps add to our unique community feel.
We currently run 10 after school clubs during the school year. 8 of these are run free of charge by our dedicated staff.
During the Academic Year 2016/17, The Tanto International School will run the following clubs:
Football, Swedish Reading Club, Tag Rugby, Chess, Prop Making, Cricket, Art and Athletics (free of charge)
Dance and Violin (occur a charge as they are run by outside professionals)
Last year teachers also offered: Drama, Animation and Art clubs.
When you have accepted a place at The Tanto International School, your child will be asked about attending clubs before they start throughout the year. Your child will be asked to sign up for the club via a letter (which is also emailed to parents/guardians). Some clubs are for specific age groups and some are for all children. If your child would like to learn the Violin or go to Dance Club, then you can contact Miss Charas or Mrs Hayes directly. Their contact details are available from the school office when you have a place in the school.
